This was received from Cady April 9th,
2008:
Dear All,
As some of you may know, ABC asked me to return as "Dixie" for a little
while, to help resolve the "Kate" storyline. I was very happy to receive the
phone call, and hope that it will lay to rest some of the anxiety that has been
around that issue. Even though it is only for a limited time, I think that it
will be a fun, playful, and ultimately satisfying experience for you, the
audience. I start working next week, but the air date is sometime in early May.
I hope you get a chance to check it out!
Meanwhile, the indie film I did with none other then James Kiberd is out
and doing well. It is very touching for both Veterans and their families, and
even though I am not related to any Vets, I found it quite a moving experience.
You can check it out at

At the end of April, on Sunday the 27th, I am going to be on a panel for
a discussion on acceptance and rejection which is part of an "Art and
Spirituality" conference held every year at The Wisdom House in Litchfield, CT.
There will be all kinds of artists there discussing the process. Perhaps you
will join me for what is sure to be an interesting afternoon. Here is their
website: www.wisdomhouse.org
Lastly, I have a book out that I am very proud of. It is called
"Conversations with the Invisible.” It is filled with poetry and art I have been
working on over many years, and is the first of three books. The theme of
"Conversations" is emotional pain brought about by denial of one's true self,
either by circumstance or happenstance. It is not a book for children, let's be
clear, but for adults who struggle with their own issues, and perhaps find art a
soothing and cathartic avenue. It is available at

Thank you for your interest and support of my work. I am truly grateful.
Wishing you a beautiful spring!
